The design project for the Bluemed Knowledge Awareness Center (KAC) in Konavle Municipality (Croatia) is completed. KAC will be opened within the Konavle Archaeological Museum, situated in Franciscan monastery in the village of Pridvorje.

This is gonna be one of four KAC´s realized through the Bluemed project, with the aim of displaying two sites of antique shipwreck with amphora load and a dolias site near the island of Supetar at a depth of 25-30 meters. The aim is to enable tourists and hosts to visit the archaeological site underwater with the help of interactive multimedia platforms, which will give a special dimension to this Center.

Alongside the DUNEA Regional Development Agency, which is a partner in the BLUEMED program, local stakeholders the Konavle Municipality and the Konavle Museums and Galleries, also have greatly contributed to the implementation of project activities in this pilot area.
